What was once an old Nash Rambler car dealership is now the front line of creative culture in downtown Spartanburg, S.C. HUB-BUB offers more than 100 nights of art, culture and entertainment a year in the Showroom Gallery and Performance Hall. Check out our event calendar for concerts, progressive art exhibits, film, experimental theatre, workshops, community forums and more.

HUB-BUB also hosts one of the nation's most innovative Artist-in-Residence programs. Emerging young artists come to us from all over the country to live upstairs, make their art, and interact with Spartanburg in inventive ways. Follow their experiences with this site's weekly AiR Journal and the four artists' blogs.

HUB-BUB is a program of HubCulture, a non-profit organization building community through dynamic art and ideas.

Take out your calendars and mark this Wednesday the 17th from 7-8pm in the Showroom for Esteban’s film: “The Preemptive Collapse of an Arduous Revolt Against Lunar Aspirations” or “That revolt gives life its value.” He promises that this will be the GREATEST EVENT OF ALL TIMES. And – you should dress the part (silent-film era clothing). While you are at it – mark NEXT Wednesday the 24th on your calendar for the AiR Exit Show which will run from 7-9pm.
