Creative Placemaking Studio
Live Free. Create.
HUB-BUB’s Artist-in-Residence program hosted by Chapman Cultural Center is designed to provide time and space for emerging artists to live free and create.
As part of that process, Chapman Cultural Center developed the Creative Placemaking Studio space for our Artists-in-Residence to conceive and create their work. The Creative Placemaking Studio is sponsored by The Milliken Foundation and located on the first floor of the Mosley building adjacent to the Chapman Cultural Center Ticket Office.
The Creative Placemaking Studio will host Open Studio Hours to visit with Marisa Adesman and Ambrin Ling, HUB-BUB’s 2018-2019 Artists-in-Residence. Marisa and Ambrin have a shared studio space that will be available to the public.
During open studio hours, visitors can not only observe our artists-in-residence at work, but engage with them in conversation about their process and participate in their community based projects.
