The Mary Black Foundation Rail Trail is turning 10 this year. And to celebrate, Partners for Active Living and Hub-Bub are hosting a bike parade on Saturday, June 4, also National Trails Day, complete with floats, costumes, music and anything else you can pull, drag, pushor carry on your bicycle.
The parade will gather at Barnet Park for registration at 9:30 am, and the parade rolls at 10 am sharp. the parade route will follow a pop-up cycle track, a protected bike lane currently in design for extending the Rail Trail across town to Barnet Park and the Chapman Cultural Center. The parade ends at the new park at Forest Avenue and the Rail Trail.
