Originally from Baldwin, New York, Eric came to Spartanburg in 2011 as a part of HUB-BUB's Artist-in-Residence Program after receiving his MFA from the University of Houston.
In addition to his work at HUB-BUB, Eric also teaches literature part time at Wofford College. Some of his writing has previously appeared in A Public Space, Best New Poets 2011, Better Magazine, Boston Review, PANK, and elsewhere.
Tim Giles is a native Spartanburg theatre artist who began his training at the SC Governor's School for the Arts & Humanities and received his BFA in acting from Rutgers University.
After living and working in New York he returned to South Carolina to focus his work on local and regional community arts. Since returning he has performed in several local theatres, composed and sound-designed for new plays, and helped organize outlets local artists including Playhaus (a weekly play reading workshop) and Front Porch Arts Collective, a grassroots arts organization.
