Creative Placemaking Studio
Live Free. Create.
HUB-BUB’s Artist-in-Residence program hosted by Chapman Cultural Center is designed to provide time and space for emerging artists to live free and create.
As part of that process, Chapman Cultural Center developed the Creative Placemaking Studio space for our Artists-in-Residence to conceive and create their work. The Creative Placemaking Studio is sponsored by The Milliken Foundation and located on the first floor of the Mosley building adjacent to the Chapman Cultural Center Ticket Office.
The HUB-BUB AiR’s have a shared studio space that is available to for the public to visit during Chapman Cultural Center operating hours.
Visitors have the opportunity to observe the Artists-in-Residence at work and engage with them in conversation about their process and participate in their community based projects.
For group visitations, please contact Melissa Earley, at mEarley@spartanarts.org or 864-278-9685 in advance.
